| Ingredients: 
 | §          Beef 6 liang (minced) or  45  grams § Radix astragali (Huangqi) 4 qian or 12 grams § ginger (Rhizoma zingiberis recens) 4 slices, § small amount of salt. | 
| Method of cooking: | 1.      Wash radix astragali (Huangqi) with water. 2. Put minced beef, radix astragali and ginger slices into a stewing pot and add adequate amount of boiling water. 3. Stew for 2 to 3 hours. 4. Add a small amount of salt to finish. |
